HANGIN LOOSE IN SICAMOUS PHOTOS
We hired kayaks from here and had a wonderful day on the river. Mel and her husband are super friendly and Mel was very responsive and accommodating when arranging the booking. Having an optional pick up at the end of the paddle was a great option for us as we are visiting from Scotland and our rental car can't take kayaks. The river was very peaceful, we brought our cooler and a picnic and even saw an osprey catch a fish! Low key family owned and run business who we were much happier renting from than a big corporate operation. Thanks guys!
If you are looking for a simple, clean,no fuss campsite with bathrooms this is a great option. The upick wasn't open when we went through but other than that it was what we expected.
REVIEWS
I can't recommend Hanging Loose in Sicamous enough! My partner and I were on our way to move to Prince George when we had some unexpected mechanical issues with our vehicle. We were lucky enough to stumble upon this beautiful campsite, and the owners were kind enough to let us stay the night and even let us have late check-out the next day while our vehicle was being fixed.
The owners were incredibly kind to us during our stay, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They even recommended a nearby waterfall hike for us to check out while we waited for our vehicle to be fixed, which ended up being a highlight of our trip.
The location of the campsite is simply stunning - right beside the river, with beautiful views all around. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and we had a fantastic time exploring the area.
If you're looking for a peaceful and scenic camping experience with amazing hosts who go the extra mile to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable, then Hanging Loose in Sicamous is the perfect place for you. We will definitely be back!
Truly an amazing Rving experience! Nestled in the cedars, and the river close by gave us the perfect setting for relaxation and care free days. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We not only extended our stay but will definitely be back again next year! Keep up the great work!
Great place all around
I had a chance to speak with the owners and have a quick look around. It is fabulous! A great addition to Sicamous!
